Wood Destroying Insect Inspections

Southwest Michigan is home to a large number of animals and insects. Unfortunately, some of them can take up residence in our homes and cause damage. A Wood Destroying Insect Inspection (commonly referred to as a Pest Inspection) is a visual inspection of accessible areas that will reveal evidence of insects that can be damaging to your home. The photos below show some examples of the most common types of WDI’s found in our region. If left untreated, Carpenter Ants, Termites and Powder Post Beetles can cause extensive structural damage.
