Not only was the front porch light wired with a flexible cord & plug, 1 of the prongs was bent so that it could be plugged into this 20 amp receptacle.
This is a damaged PVC flue pipe for a power vent water heater that has been "repaired" with a Coke can and painters tape.
Probably a good sign that there's ongoing water intrusion issues in the basement, eh?

Those aren't shadows on the wood siding/overhang. Someone installed a woodburner in the living room but didn't vent it correctly.
